How to Use

  • Prep the meat: Clean and cut your choice of meat into desired pieces. Rinse them thoroughly and pat them dry.
  • Marinate: In a mixing bowl, combine the meat with yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and Waghmare Varhadi Meat Masala. Adjust the quantity of the masala according to your taste preferences and the amount of meat you are using. Mix well, ensuring the meat is evenly coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate it overnight for more intense Flavours.
  • Sauté the spices: Heat oil or ghee in a large pan or pressure cooker. Add whole spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and bay leaves. Sauté them until fragrant, which helps release their flavours.
  • Cook the meat: Add finely chopped onions to the pan and cook until they turn golden brown. Then, add the marinated meat and mix well with the spices and onions. Cook the meat on medium heat until it is browned on all sides.
  • Simmer and serve: Reduce the heat to low and add water or broth to the pan, enough to cover the meat. Cover the pan or pressure cooker and let the meat simmer until it becomes tender and cooked through. The cooking time will vary depending on the type of meat and its thickness. Once done, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roti, or naan.
