How to Use

1. Roast the Vermicelli till browned.

2. Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add the mustard seeds and let them pop in the oil. Add the urad dal, and cumin seeds and try them till they get browned.

3. Add the onions and fry till they become translucent. Now add the curry leaves, ginger, green chilli, red chili and fry till the raw aroma of the ginger goes away.

4. Add asafoetida (hing) and stir for a few seconds. Add water, salt and sugar and let the mixture come to a boil Lower the flame and add the roasted Vermicelli.

5. Stir and cook the vermicelli till they become soft and all the water is absorbed. Keep on stirring in between.

6. When the vermicelli is cooked completely all the water is absorbed turn off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.
