Ingredients

Paste- Onion, Tomato, Edible Vegetable Oil (Sunflower), Ginger, Garlic, Spices And Condiments, Salt, Natural Vinegar, Anti-oxidant (Mixed Tocopherol).

Masala Mix- Chilly Powder, Cumin Powder, Meat Masala, Coriander Powder, Black Pepper Powder.

Paste - Yellow Mustard, Edible Vegetable Oil (Mustard), Salt, Poppy Seeds, Green Chilli.

Masala Mix - Desiccated Coconut, Edible Vegetable Oil (Mustard), Sugar, Turmeric, Antioxidant (Mixed Tocopherol).

How to Use

Amritsari Mutton Curry:

  • Step 1: Empty the paste pack and mix with 750g of mutton in a pressure cooker. Add half cup of water, cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes. 
  • Step 2: Add the masala mix to it and sauté for additional 4-5 minutes, then add 1 and 1/2 cups of water and pressure cook for 8-10 whistles. 
  • Step 3: Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and cook without lid on a medium flame for 5 minutes. Keep Stirring Finish it with a garnish of fresh coriander leaves and serve hot!

Bengali Mustard Prawns:

  • Step 1: Clean and de-vein 500g of Prawns. Heat ½ Tbsp oil in a pan. Sauté the cleaned and deveined prawns for 2-3 minutes till they turn light pink. Be careful don’t overcook the prawns. 
  • Step 2: Empty contents of the Shorshe Bata Paste and the dry Mix in a pan. Add two slit green chillies to the pan. Add half cup of water. Mix well. 
  • Step 3: Cook on a medium flame for 5-8 minutes with closed lid. Stir occasionally. Serve hot!
