Lumiere's versions of your favourite salt crunch permit you a worry-free indulgence because all our ingredients are organically raised and safe. This is a milder version of the typical Malayali spicy-hot mixture. Besan is mixed with rice flour for crunch and kneaded in with pungent heeng, turmeric for aroma & colour and rock salt into a stiff dough. It is then extruded vermicelli-like into hot sunflower oil, taken out, drained and broken. Roasted Chana dal and Peanuts fried separately are tossed in and the whole mixture is dusted lightly with red chilli powder.
