Unlike Nendran Banana Chips from Kerala, spiced/ flavored Banana chips cannot be prepared in Nendran Bananas, hence locally grown green vegetable bananas are cut into thin slices and fried in Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil, these chips are then coated with ground pepper powder & a bit of salt. Sliced bananas are deep-fried under controlled temperature, it ensures that the chips are lighter, nongreasy and also enhances the natural earthy flavor of bananas.
