Step1: To use this essential oil for age spots, put two to three drops of lemon oil mixed with a carrier oil on your face twice a day.

Step2: Add a few drops of lemon oil to water or witch hazel, and apply to your face for acne or oily skin. The essential oils may be used in diffusers, potpourri arrangements, bath water and for aromatherapy blends.

Step3: For diffuser use, add a few drops of distilled essential oil in the diffuser basin and light the candle. It can also be added to room spray as an air freshener and for general aromatherapy benefits.

Caution: Although lemon essential oil can help your skin, it can also aggravate your skin. Lemon and other citrus oils can also make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. As with most essential oils, dilute the lemon essential oil in water or a base oil such as grapeseed.
